What do David Guetta, Keith Richards, Kylie Jenner, Mark Zuckerberg and the NFL have in common? Nothing much, besides the fact that all of their Twitter accounts have been hacked in recent days.
French Electronic DJ David Guetta is the latest celebrity to have his social media accounts hacked into by the hacking collective OurMine. A number of tweets popped up in the Guetta’s feed today claiming to to have gained access to his account. The tweets claim to be testing the cybersecurity of the producer’s account, which has over 20 million followers, asking him to DM them for contact.
The tweet the sent out was intended as a friendly heads-up regarding the lack of security on Guetta’s passwords, supposedly linked to a massive data leak from LinkedIn. The tweets have since been deleted from Guetta’s account.
