“We’re in this together,” wails Swedish chanteuse Zara Larsson, repeatedly, on “This One’s For You,” video, the official UEFA Euro 2016 “anthem” by David Guetta. The song that allegedly borrowed a little too much from Major Lazer “Lean On” now has its own video.
David Guetta and Zara Larsson’s collaboration “This One’s For You” was earlier this year selected as the anthem for the 2016 UEFA European Championship and now the anthem has an official music video to inspire its tournament’s players, fans and beyond. As expected, the video is heavily influenced by football and the tournament showing different parts of the world emphasising on the message that the sport brings countries together.
Earlier UEFA and David Guetta have confirmed that over a million fans have recorded with him as part of his official song of UEFA EURO 2016.
“Thanks a million to everyone who recorded with me,” said Guetta. “It really is a collaboration like no other. I wanted to try something very special and put the fans at the heart of the UEFA EURO 2016 song. When I asked one million fans of music and football to record with me I didn’t know how they would respond but the support from all over the world has been amazing. Now I just have to finish the record.”
