Christopher Frahm, better known in EDM circles as DJ Calvo, is one of the high-flying House artists on Armada Music at the moment. Just 25 years of age, the rising House artist has already produced for stars such as Pitbull, Nicki Minaj and US rapper Snoop Dogg. Renowned for his ability to create quality hits in his unique sound and style, he has come a long way to be the well-respected artist he now is. Even after recent releases such as ‘Hard 2 Find’, as well as his huge hits such as ‘Vicious Girl’ and ‘Need U’, his passion to create new music has not abated and while he is not sitting in his studio producing hits, he sets up in clubs from Hamburg to Los Angeles.
In an exclusive interview with Nexus Radio, Calvo discusses the origin of his artist name, his extreme regimen for maintaining a healthy lifestyle between creating music, and what animal he would like to be if he were a furry, among other things.
