We wish we could have hung out with French trio Dirtyphonics all week long, as every day was a party with them. They were spinning at different label events where they had released tracks on; Buygore, Monstercat, Dim Mak, and Circus. For them, it’s more than a label thing -these guys choose their labels based on their circle of friends, and who their music best fits at the time. They also rock the coolest shades, which we found out were actually Snap Spectacles.
Already this year, they’ve remixed “Blame” by Zeds Dead and Diplo, collaborated with Bass Nectar and Ragga Twins on “Watch Out” and dropped their sick ’Night Ride’ EP with features from Example and Virtual Riot. Now you can see why their Miami week was a “long non-stop party” full of Bloody Marys (their drink of choice) sleep was not in the plans.
