DJ Kue has Music Momentum

For DJ Kue, Miami was a great escape from the torrential rain pouring down in his home state of California.  “Sun and fun” was his focus as he played big parties like Tommie Sunshine’s Brooklyn Fire and 418.

With his backpack, DJ Kue is ready for anything that life throws at him. He always carries his headphones, two backup USB drives, snacks, water, and earplugs.  He is “adamant about carrying earplugs.”

Surprisingly, if Kue didn’t pursue music, he said he would have gone into education.  “I geek out with production and converse with producers about technique” and “how we approach different things,” which is how he would see music education.

2019 is a year of “music momentum” with his album nearly finished, several remixes (Prince, Dido, Jessica Sutta) receiving love from DJs, and his song “Going Home” conquering the Billboard Club Chart.  “Things have been clicking” for Kue.
