In particular, his 2023 single “Lie To Me” showed fans around the world that this exciting, up-and-coming Austrian artist has a lot to offer.

Q: Before we dig in, what's next for you?

Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for having me! I’m continually working on various music projects, and I’ve got a lot of songs lined up for 2024! There are some exciting collaborations with prominent figures in the melodic bass scene, though I can’t disclose much about them yet. However, it’s shaping up to be some of my most cherished work to date! My team and are also putting in tireless effort towards organizing the first LUVIUM U.S. Shows. I can’t wait to play these unreleased tracks live to my audience!

Q: What are your thoughts on the meaning of success, and how do you define success for yourself?

Success to me undoubtedly entails being able to pursue one’s passions regularly, preferably while sustaining oneself financially. It appears that this dream is on the verge of becoming a reality for me this year, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunities my project is currently presenting.

Q: What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever bought?

That has to be my Prophet Hardware Synth. I think it was something like 4000 dollars, yet I haven’t used it in a session to this day. For me, software synths are much more accessible and easier to work with.

Q: What's the most memorable fan encounter you've ever had?

I encountered a girl at a concert, and she candidly shared that my music saved her life. That moment was paradigm-shifting for me, as I realized the profound impact my music could have in healing people and aiding them in navigating their darkest emotions and thoughts. Since then, this has become my driving passion, and I consider it a responsibility to assist as many individuals as possible through my music. It’s what propels me to continue working tirelessly on my project; I can’t envision a more fulfilling endeavor in my life.

Q: Where and when would you go if you could travel back in time to any moment in history?

I’d relish the opportunity to journey back to the beginning days of melodic and future bass. Witnessing and actively participating in the early scene and observing its evolution into what it is today would be immensely captivating.

Q: If you could only listen to three songs for the rest of your life, which ones would you choose?

That´s a tough one! But if I had to choose:
Nurko – Disappearing Now
Illenium – Crawl Outta Love
Said the Sky and Illenium – Walk Me Home

Q: What is your philosophy on happiness, and how do you strive to maintain a sense of happiness and well-being?

For me, happiness encompasses mental and physical well-being, alongside nurturing strong relationships with family and friends — the most pivotal aspects of my life. Following closely behind is my music and my project. As I mentioned earlier, the gratification derived from helping others through my music is unparalleled. There’s also an innate need for creativity within me, and I’m grateful that I can express it through my music.

Q: How do you see dance music evolving in the future?

I foresee dance music returning somewhat to its roots, with less emphasis on following trends. While I anticipate various genre crossovers I firmly believe that emotionally-driven music still has its place in EDM, and I see renewed attention being directed toward this scene in the future.

Q: If you could switch lives with any other celebrity for a week, who would it be?

Without a doubt, Illenium. It has always been my aspiration to tour and perform on grand stages, so experiencing a week through his perspective would undoubtedly be profoundly inspiring for me. Also witnessing his production process would be truly enlightening!

Q: What's the weirdest thing you've ever Googled?

This is a personal one: “Am I too old to make it as a melodic bass producer?” This question lingered in my mind for quite some time, given that I’m now 32 years old. However, seeing numerous successful individuals who are much older than me and still commanding main stages at festivals truly bolsters my resolve not to abandon my dreams!
