Khainz Explores a Deeper Emotional Sound with New Single “Fall To You”

THE Level 7 SERIES

Swiss DJ and producer Khainz has officially made his debut on Purified Records with the powerful and emotive single, Fall To You. Known for his consistent contributions to the international techno scene, Khainz brings his signature style to Nora En Pure’s label with a vocal-led release that blends club precision with deep emotional resonance.

Built around a heartfelt vocal hook, Fall To You draws the listener in with atmospheric textures, evolving percussion, and a steady, hypnotic groove. The track balances introspective energy with dancefloor appeal, showcasing Khainz’s refined production sensibility. It’s a melancholic yet moving addition to his expansive catalog—marking a more emotional direction for the artist.

“This track was a collaboration with a UK-based singer,” Khainz explains. “It’s definitely on the more melancholy side of my music, and I’m really proud of how it came together.”

When it comes to his creative process, Khainz is guided by instinct. “Sometimes I walk into the studio with a clear idea, and other times I just experiment with melodies or percussion,” he says. “Inspiration can strike from emotions or moments that stay with me. I just follow whatever feels right.”

Though the producer jokes he has no wild tales of unexpected inspiration, his work is grounded in authenticity. “Failures don’t exist—they’re lessons. You learn and come back stronger,” he shares, adding that perseverance and passion are central to his journey.

The artwork for Fall To You further elevates the release, featuring a stunning ocean image captured by award-winning photographer Brooke Pyke. Shot at the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, the image aligns with the environmental mission of the Australian Marine Conservation Society, which promotes ocean health and biodiversity. The release also encourages fans to explore Only One, a platform committed to ocean restoration and climate action.

Outside the studio, Khainz keeps it light-hearted. If given the chance to swap lives with a cartoon character, he’d choose Garfield—“so I could just relax and eat lasagna”—or Rick from Rick and Morty for a more chaotic adventure. His dream travel companions? Legendary producers Hans Zimmer and Rick Rubin.

With Fall To You, Khainz opens a new chapter—one filled with sonic maturity, emotional depth, and artistic integrity. As his journey continues, one thing is clear: he’s not just producing tracks; he’s crafting moments.  Read the full interview below.

Q: Tell us about your latest project.

My most recent endeavor was “Fall To You,” a song I worked on with a singer from the UK.It has just been released on Nora En Pure’s label Purified. A more melancholy music from my catalague.

Q:What’s your creative process like when producing a new track? Do you start with a melody, beat, or something else?

It varies greatly; sometimes, I go to the studio with a specific concept in mind, and occasionally, I make voice notes of melodies or text notes that I frequently have in bed just before falling asleep.Other times, I simply go to the studio and experiment with synth sounds, melodies, or percussions, then proceed from there.

Q: What’s the weirdest or most unexpected place you’ve drawn inspiration from?

I could write you a big tale here that actually never happened. :)  My inspiration comes primarily from other artists or from moments/situations that evoke a specific emotion in me. When I get to the studio, I simply compose or produce whatever my instincts or feelings tell me sounds good.

Q: If you had to swap lives with a cartoon character for a week, who would it be?

Probably Garfield, so I could just relax for a week and eat lasagna.
If it has to be a bit more adventurous, then Rick from Rick and Morty.

Q: If you could travel with a celebrity, who would it be?

Hans Zimmer and Rick Rubin are both extremely inspirational music producers who appear to be quite humble. I could surely learn a lot from them and have interesting conversations about music.

Q: What’s the most significant lesson life has taught you so far?

Never give up and keep doing what you love; good things will happen if you persevere. Life is too short to waste on negativity.

Q: How do you handle failure?

Failures do not exist; they are lessons. Learn from them and come back stronger.
