10 Questions with ‘Eyes’ Producer MNI

THE TAKE 5 SERIES

MNI

We had a chat with Berlin-based dance group MNI about aliens, dance music, latest projects, and much more.

MNI is a brand new producer group—in fact, they released debut single ‘Eyes,’ featuring British singer Jordan Shaw earlier this month. As far as beginnings go, theirs is far from humble: released with global powerhouse Universal Music, ‘Eyes’ has already surpassed 100,000 streams on Spotify and has accrued for the group over 50,000 monthly listeners.

The debut single provides high prospects for what is to come in the future from MNI. The catchy lyrics are backed by a saxophone sound, already showing us that MNI does not shy away from untraditional and experimentation with dance music.

So far, MNI is a secret project: photos and identities of the group members have not been released to the public. Prior to releasing their debut single, they had teased new fans with a remix of Moodshift’s “Touch.”

To learn more about MNI, including what they believe the world will look like in 300 years, check out our Take-5 interview with the artists below:
