Erika Jayne aka Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Erika Giradi has been turning heads with the other Housewives about her alter ego, but that’s nothing new as Erika has always been Erika Jayne to us.
Her creative director, Mikey Minden, who’s favorite shows are the Housewives was more than thrilled when he received the news that Erika Jayne was joining the cast, “I have seen every city of Housewives ever,” Mikey told The Daily Dish. “This was a dream come true, that my best friend and creative partner was going to be on my favorite show.”
Erika Jayne and Mikey Minden, joined forces around seven years ago while he was choreographing the Pussycat Dolls’s last world tour “Doll Domination”. The inspiration for Erika Jayne’s look comes from a shared values, such as Bob Fosse, Vegas Show Girls, Photography books and old movie clips. But it’s always changing and always involving, giving it a organic feel to style, says Mikey Minden to Bravo. “Everything I’ve done with Erika is always really true to who she is and what she’s trying to express, which is fantasy, love, escape, glitz, glamour, fun — those are her words”
Working on the upcoming video for Erika Jayne, the team went back to the 90’s, where big budgets ruled the scene and where glossy in your face glam videos were born. Putting the glam to the side, the video is slated to featured numerous jaw dropping moves such as her now famous “pat the puss” and “drop it down low on the d***” moves.
While there is not a date set for the release, the success of Erika Jayne’s role in the Real Housewives series can only mean that it’s only the beginning and were expecting to see alot more of this “Pretty Mess.”
