MARTIN GARRIX RELEASES NEW VIDEO AND RECORD LABEL

Martin Garrix, 19 year-old Dutch DJ, has some big announcements. After a messy break-up between him and  the record label that was previously representing him, Spinnin’ Records, Garrix decided to start up his own record label. Dutch DJ Producer wonder kid has launched his new record label called STMPD Records on March 11 after having been talking about it for several months.

Garrix talks about his new record label, saying, “My aim with STMPD RCRDS is to foster an artist first community to support great music. It’s important for young, undiscovered talent and veterans alike to have a support system that is invested in and dedicated to their success above all else.”  With convenient timing, there is some indication that Garrix’s best friend, Julian Jordan, fellow producer, might also be joining STMPD as he is going independent, which might bolster the community that he wants to create with his new label.

On the same day that he launched his new record company, he also released a new single along with a video as STMPD’s first release. The song is called ‘Now That I’ve Found You,’ and you can watch the video below to see for yourself.

Garrix announced the unexpected release of his new single and video over a Facebook live-streaming video Q&A with his fans as it was posted on his Youtube page. He recommended that people continue watching his Q&A before leaving to watch his new video.

He also announced on his live-stream that he will be premiering  eight or nine of his new tracks at the Ultra Music Festival, which he will be headlining at. Ultra Music Festival is happening tomorrow, March 18th and going on until the 20th, and will be featuring other great artists like Afrojack, Crystal Castles, Tiesto, Purity Ring, David Guetta, Avicii, and many more.

Additionally, Garrix had also said on his live-stream that he will have his new album finished by April. It is fair to assume that this will likely be the first album for his new record label, STMPD, to release and we are looking forward to hearing more.
