March is here and in just a couple of weeks EDM fans from all over the world will be flocking to Miami to take part in this year’s Miami Music Week. By now you’ve no doubt got your tickets booked, your sleeping arrangements made, and a full itinerary of the events you’re planning to attend. All that’s left to do is sit back and wait.
If those last two sentences left you sweating with anxiety, then not to worry! There’s still plenty of time to make those last minute arrangements and, even better, you don’t have to do it all by yourself.
Here at Nexus we’ve always got your back and that’s why we’ve put together this handy guide to everything you’ll need to know for this year’s festival. We’ll be covering everything from hotels to transport and even where to go so that you don’t miss all the biggest events.
The Big Moments
First up, before we get into all the boring practical stuff, let’s talk about the big can’t-miss moments of this year’s festival.

If you’re arriving on Wednesday, then stop by the Dream Hotel’s Highbar for the Miami and Friends Industry Pool Party. With a massive line-up starting at 12noon, the event features Plastik Funk, Z3lla, Disco Fires, Luca Testa, Vic Latino Kastra, Lee Dagger, Max Rae and GT_Ofice, with support from Brenden O’Neil, Chitown Shani, Corey James, B-Side, Marko Leandro, Jody Vukas, Tantop, Tony Kay, Tod Allen and Sam Allan.

If you’re planning to drop by The Good Time hotel, then get ready for:
- Thursday – Robin Schultz & Friends, featuring Topic, Joel Corry, and Lovra
- Friday – O.D. & Friends, featuring Ferreck Dawn along with several TBA artists
- Saturday – Repopulate Mars, featuring Solardo, J Worra, Torren Foot, The Hills, Roddy Lima, Kaysin, The Connect

While all that’s happening, the Winter Music Conference will be running Wednesday to Friday so if you’re more into the industry side of things, then be sure to stop by Eden Roc, Miami Beach.

As for your Sunday, why not drop by the Tool Room pool party for an incredible afternoon and evening featuring:
- Chaney
- Crusy, Tony Romera, Low Steppa
- Danny Rhys
- Darius Syrossian
- Essel, James Hurr
- Gene Farris, Cassimm
- Jenn Getz & Alife, Lovra
- Mark Knight
- Martin Ikin
- Sidepiece
And of course, over the weekend, you’ll also be able to experience all the incredible artists who’ll be performing at Ultra Music Festival.
Tackling Transport
Transport at Miami Music Week is famously a nightmare and no matter what you do it’s likely to be a pricey affair. If you drive then you can expect to pay for parking wherever you go – assuming you can find parking at all – and if not, then you’ll want to take the time to research public transport from your hotel to the locations you’ll be attending.
Miami’s public transport isn’t great however and, for the most part, you’re likely to spend a lot of time in taxis and rideshares which is why it’s super important to plan out your weekend.
It might not sound like fun but knowing where you want to be and when is pretty much the only way to make sure you can get the most out of your Miami Music Week experience. Prepare to travel at unusual times so as not to get caught in rush hour traffic and try to prioritise the events you really want to see.
All that said, if you do take the time to do a little planning, most major transport hurdles can be avoided so you shouldn’t have to spend too much of your weekend waiting in traffic.
