ADE: The Second Round of Artists Has Been Announced!

This year’s Amsterdam Dance Event is set to be massive. We’ve said before that ADE is one of the biggest festivals on the EDM calendar, but that just doesn’t convey the sheer scale of how much is being packed into one week of events. Attendees will find their week filled with incredible performances, life-changing talks, and the kind of unique experiences they’ll never forget.

And as if that wasn’t enough, things have become even more exciting!
The festival’s organizers have now officially announced the second wave of this year’s line-up, and it’s quite the international extravaganza. Featuring artists big and small from around the world, this year’s ADE will be the perfect place to hear old classics and discover new gems.
So, let’s get into this year’s ADE line-up (part 2) without further ado!

The Big Names

Out of the gate, this announcement hits heavy with some of Europe’s biggest stars like Armin Van Buren, DJ Tiësto, 3VIOLAS, Eric Prydz, Bakermat, and Brennan Heart. These are the kinds of names that always draw in a crowd, so if you’re planning to check them out, you’d better be ready for some serious hype.
Of course, it’s not just European artists getting the spotlight. Attendees can expect to see appearances from South Korea’s Peggy Gou and Palestine’s Sama’ Abdulhadi, who have broken into the international market in recent years to almost unanimous acclaim.
This new line-up also features well-known American artists such as Honey Dijon, Floorplan, and Kerri Chandler. Suffice it to say that, even if you’re going to see the big names, you’ll have more than enough to fill your plate.

Mid-Weight Masters

Now, it has to be said that the bulk of this line-up is made of mid-level artists. You may or may not have heard of these folks with dedicated fan bases but who are, nonetheless, well worth checking out.

This includes artists like Carl Cox, San Holo, Eris Drew, and Jennifer Cardini, to name a few. So if you’re going to ADE to discover new sounds you’ve not heard before, or you’re into stuff that’s a little less mainstream, you won’t be disappointed. From Techno to Eurobeat, this latest line-up has something for everyone.

Up and Comers

And finally, one of the best things about ADE is that it gives us all a chance to discover some rising stars who are just breaking their way in. If you want to see the stars of tomorrow, then you’ll need to drop by some of these gigs because ADE is always filled with fresh sounds, so long as you know where to look. Of course, we can’t tell you for sure which of these artists will make it big, but if you want our recommendations, go ahead and check out Voices From the Lake, LYZZA, and Cybersex.
ADE 2022 is just around the corner, and we can’t overstate just how massive this festival will be. So many unique, incredible artists are appearing this year that we don’t have time to look at them all. For the full program, check out the ADE website, where you can still get your hands on an ADE Pro Pass, which will get you into every event as well as the full conference and more!
Meanwhile, at Nexus Radio, we’ll keep counting down the days with glee, so be sure to check back for more coverage over the next few weeks.
