…at least according to the SNL skit that aired this week.
Adele’s new megahit “Hello” was featured in a skit on the popular sketch comedy show in which a family is getting together for a Thanksgiving meal. The conversation among family members starts to devolve into a shouting match, but luckily one young girl knows what to do: go to the stereo and hit “play.” The arguments cease immediately, as the opening chords to Adele’s “Hello” play and the whole table sings along with the pop star – at least until the doorbell rings.

The skit also features Matthew McConaugey, who hosted the episode. Adele was the musical guest for the night. She performed “When We Were Young” and, of course, “Hello,” both of which are off of her new album “25.”
