AFROJACK RELEASES NEW G-STAR RAW COLLECTION

Afrojack is about to release his third G-Star Raw clothing collection. In the past, he has done a ‘capsule collection’ of clothing and a line of sunglasses. However, this collection will consist of ten pieces, which will include t-shirts, hoodies, caps, sweatpants, and a satin bomber jacket. Additionally, with one of the pieces he incorporated elements of the G-Star’s iconic Elmwood jean. However, his version of the elmwood includes a refreshing 7/8 length and an elastic waistband, which allows the comfort of sportswear.

Both the Afrojack and G-Star are originally from the Netherlands and have similar style. G-Star Raw is inspired by using raw denim to create and sculpt clothing with 3D designs. Other musical artists, such as Pharrell Williams, have collaborated with with G-Star Raw, which have produced stylish collections.

Afrojack’s inspiration for this collection is the way that he chooses his own clothing when getting ready to perform. He prefers something that will inspire confidence in him while he is on stage, but will also be comfortable enough for him to move around freely to his music. “G-Star and I come from the same belief in the power of music in connecting people. This shared philosophy is why I was excited to work with them again in a new, different way because clothing has that same magic,” Afrojack comments about his collection. This collection will be truly hip and stylish while also allowing comfort and movement, which is perfect for enjoying music by dancing or going to a club, while also being great for everyday wear.

The G-Star Raw collection that Afrojack is a part of will be available in all G-Star stores and online at g-star.com on April 8, 2016. However, it will be officially launching at the Miami G-Star store on March 17, 2016 during the Miami Music Week, which Afrojack will be attending and performing at.
