The Avicii documentary, True Stories has finally made it Netflix after nearly two year’s after it’s filming. The documentary was reported added and then removed from Netflix’s platform in several different countries.
The film cover’s the late DJ’s and producer’s career and personal life from his early success to his announcement of retirement.
Over the course of four years, filmmaker Levan Tsikurishvili followed Avicii capturing moments in his life and indirectly offering a starling number of clues. “There was never an end to the shows, even when I hit a wall,” the DJ says early in the film. “My life is all about stress.”
“He’s a shell of what he used to be,” says a friend in the film, while another describes him as “a ticking timebomb”.
