Bimbo Jones Interview.
Lee Dagger of Bimbo Jones started his Miami trip with two gigs. One thing led to another and soon he was partying up on the beach and a strip club downtown. That’s just the kind of crazy life that Lee lives. “If you want to push yourself forward- work with as many people as possible because you never know what you’re going to come up with.” And gauging by the success of his massive clubland jam hot “So Lost Hearted” with Courtney Harrell, everything seems to be working perfectly for Lee.
While his dream collaborators are Stevie Wonder and Missy Elliott, Lee would also wants to work with some of the folk artists that he follows on Instagram. “I’m half Irish, and the beauty of the song and the melody can be of any genre.”
With the Spice Girls on tour right now, Lee told the story behind his one time collaboration with Emma Bunton (Baby Spice). Lee happens to be quite the accomplished chef, and his delicious roast chicken opened the path to wonderful tunes that he and Baby Spice wrote together.
If you really want to make Lee happy though, just bring him a McDonald’s mushroom Swiss burger with extra barbecue sauce. Fully satiated, the beats and laughs will ensue.
