After the Jack Ü and Justin Bieber collaboration for Grammy-award winning mega-hit “Where Are Ü Now“, Diplo has again teamed up with the Canadian superstar for Major Lazer’s new single “Cold Water“, also featuring past Major Lazer collaborator MØ.
During the most recent episode of Major Lazer’s Beats 1 show Lazer Sound, Diplo took a some time to discuss future material. Looking to replicate the level of success with Major Lazer’s earlier success, Diplo has announced that Major Lazer will be releasing a new single “in a couple of weeks” titled “Cold Water”, collaborating with Justin Bieber and MØ.
While Diplo will be on tour with Major Lazer all the summer, he says that they’re already at work on the new album. While he doesn’t give a specific date for the first single, “Cold Water,” he does say it’ll be out within the next “couple weeks”. “Cold Water” is the first single from Major Lazer’s upcoming album.
With the level of success Diplo has achieved separately with both Justin Bieber and MØ, we can all but expect another mega-hit on the cards from their new single.
