Forbes Highest Paid DJ’S: Calvin Harris #1

CalvinHarris-SmallLess than 10 years ago, a Scottish Grocery Chain Worker, Adam Wiles was working without a college degree and living with his parents.   Almost giving up on his musical life, he believed he would be stocking food shelves for the rest of his life.

Today, Adam Wiles, known better to the Nexus Radio fans as Calvin Harris, is the World’s Highest Paid DJ.

Calvin Harris, pulsed in $46 million last year due to his success with multiple artists and publishing advances.  The DJ was recently also presented with a certificate from the Guinness World Record for the most #1 singles from a single album, beating out Michael Jackson.

“In American, dance music is booming” Tiesto told Forbes Magazine “At the moment it’s the most exciting genre”.

The magazine recently announced the World’s Highest paid DJ’S, with the Dutch DJ Tiesto, ranking in at second place at $32 million.
