Has Google Found Who Marshmello Really Is?

Of all of the masked DJs that are out there, ostensibly the most popular and sought after right now is Marshmello. Since he emerged in 2015, the producer Marshmallow has worked to keep his identity a secret, performing with a helmet that approximates a cylindrical lampshade with holes for eyes and mouth. Fans of the DJ and producer have spent countless hours trying to figure out the answer that has evaded most: who is he?

Hiding one’s identity is a tried and tested method of gaining attention. Marshmello has been aided in his buzz-building efforts by his big-name friends; Skrillex, fellow upcoming DJ Jauz, Dillon Francis, Borgore, Getter, Mija and more.

The closest fans came to finding the man behind the mask, was at EDC Las Vegas, earlier this year when the masked man removed his helmet, revealing himself to be Tiësto. But the grin from Tiësto after revealing himself was not enough to convince Marshmello fans.

Up until now…. Big boy Google, is convinced that Marshmello is indeed Tiësto. Don’t believe us? Go to Google and search for ‘Marshmello tour dates’, and lo, there lies the proof we were all earnestly looking for. Yeah, you got that right, Google, with all of its complex algorithms running in the background truly believes that Tiësto is indeed Marshmello!!!

We do not know yet, if Marshmello / Tiësto (which Google believes to be) is relieved or worried; his twitter handle showed nothing, just like his masked face gives nothing away –
