Billed as The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, the Indianapolis 500 is an automobile race-competition held every year at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Speedway, Indiana. And when most people think of The Indy 500, they probably think pick-up trucks and Country Music. However, that couldn’t be farther from the truth at this year’s Indy 500 last Memorial Day Weekend.
This year the Snake Pit featured the biggest stage yet with Kaskade, A-Track and Steve Aoki. The EDM started to flow early with A-Track opening at 8:45am and Steve Aoki was serving the crowd cake and water by 10am. And by serving cake and water, we mean the only way Steve Aoki knows how to serve cake and water. Steve Aoki’s antics proved helpful as he handed out bottled water to the crowd in the 90 degree heat.
Kaskade closed the EDM show around noon with the traditional big room and future house sound. The crowd sang along to Atmoshpere and the perfectly synced visuals made it an unforgettable experience.
