Kelly Rowland decided it was time to leave her label after poor sales and the failure to promote her new single. The label agreed to her request. Her wish was also to become a judge on the X Factor US but the label did nothing to help this part of her career.

She left Universal in December of 2013 after the poor sales of her album “Talk A Good Game” according to Jawn Murray and other sources. However, this artist is not done with her career yet. She has begun working on a new material for her fifth album.
