Knife Party Plays with Trigger

Knife_Party_LogoOne of the best things about this technological new-age we’re in is the access we have to our artists. We find things out quicker now than ever before. Example, we know about Knife Party’s long awaited EP being around the corner thanks to Rob Swire and his penchant for Twitter.

Knife Party is not a new name. The Australian duo’s been dropping bombs since 2011, after branching off from the Drum and Bass group, Pendulum. Their last album was 2014s Abandon Ship and was preceded by their 2013 EP, Haunted House. The “Bonfire” creators promised a new EP back in the beginning of the year, but details have been fuzzy. Back in July, KP tweeted that their new EP, Trigger Warning, would be released in “6-8 weeks”.

In October that estimation turned into “shortly”. When a user asked what “shortly” meant, he received “2018” as a response. Whether that was just a cruel, twisted joke or not remains to be seen. In an attempt to appease their salivating fan base they shared a tidbit of Jauz’s brutal remix to their parody track “Plur Police”.

You may be deciding if this EP will be worth listening to (which it will be), or you just need a hit of their telltale, grind to get through the next who-knows-how-long. Either way, take a listen.
