ADE 2020 EDITION

Dutch DJ duo Lucas and Steve have been working in the music industry for over 10 years. With a prolific history in remixing and live shows the duo has conquered almost everything an artist could hope to accomplish. Now though, their debut album, Letters to Remember is set to come out later this year, and features the upbeat single “Another Life.” Lucas and Steve are super excited to release new music, and to give us some hilarious answers to our Take 5 questions.

Q; Before we dig in, tell us about your latest project.

Our latest project is our album that’s we’re about to drop. It’s called ‘Letters to Remember’, it’s our debut album containing our latest single ‘Another Life’, that we wrote in LA last February. We’re super excited to release our first album!

Q; What cocktail (or drink) recipe is getting you through the pandemic?

Lucas has really bussy expanding his knowledge of all the wines that the world has to offer and Steve’s remedy is a blend of different kinds of Gin & Tonics and Moscow Mules.

Q; What is your first musical memory?

Wow that’s a tough one. For Lucas hearing his mom playing the grand piano at home. For Steve it’s his parents playing classic soul and disco records in the living room.

Q: What’s the most useless talent you have?

Lucas: I can pick up stuff with my toes. It’s actually not useless at all. Monkeys do it all the time. Try it.
Steve: All of my talents are super useful.

Q; If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask?

Can Donald Trump pick-up stuff with his feet too?

Q: You must survive in the Amazon Rainforest for a year. Which 3 DJs or industry friends would you take with you and why?

David Guetta, so he can teach us everything about his vocoder. Tim and Jurre from Firebeatz. Let’s turn the rainforest upside down, and Alan Walker. People wearing facemasks are nice to have around these days + he’s a nice guy.

Q: Which fictional character would be the most exciting to meet in real life?

Harry Potter.

Q: Amsterdam, New York, or Tokyo?

Tokyo!! Love that place. New York is incredible too, but in Tokyo everything is mind blowing. It’s just so different. We are too used to Amsterdam to prefer it over these other great cities.

Q: Do you sing in the shower?

Usually in the car.

Q: And finally, what’s on your Netflix watch list?

Binge-watching Vikings at the moment. Next up issss… Fear City – New York vs The Maffia. We can’t wait for a new season of Stranger Things
