MIMO’s first Miami Music Week was a life-changing experience. Nick and Danny (aka The Disco Fries) convinced him to make the trip and and MIMO made a lot of great connections with industry heavy hitters. MIMO really looks up to the Fries for their “work ethic” and being “the guys that really make the industry incredible.” Speaking of incredible, listen to their (Disco Fries and MIMO) collaboration with Jena Rose, “Blue,” by clicking below.
Mimo’s edit packs are loved by DJ’s all around the world. He is a future house/deep house producer living in Cleveland but can’t play a full-on house set with mixing in the urban and top 40 flair. “I’m morphing into an open format dance artist. I love Nora en Pure and her style” and think “how can I play this in a live set where people can appreciate her music but still get a piece of what they want.” His edit packs bridge the gaps in his sets by making music that everyone will dance to.
2019 is packed with new productions for Mimo. Original production and new collaborations with Raquel Castro and Feenixpawl are set for release. Who knows, maybe there is a new Disco Fries collaborations on the way as well?
