Nexus Radio announces that it has renewed its partnership with Borderline Music store. The internet broadcasting company known for its “out-of-the-box” promotional style has partnered with the legendary brick-and-mortar music store Borderline Music.
Borderline is Chicago’s oldest and only record store that focuses exclusively on dance and pop music. A bucket-list-must for any avid Madonna music fan, the boutique shop boasts a sizable collection of Madonna CDs, posters, vinyl and other collectibles.
The promotional partnership is intended to help push tangible music sales, including CDs, Vinyl, posters and other artist collectibles by linking Nexus’s now playing, charts and last played with borderlinemusic.com. In addition to helping push sales, the partnership will also open other promotional opportunities for artists. For example, In 2008 Nexus Radio sponsored a series of artist acoustic performances on location. Dance artists September, Agnes, and Ultra Nate stopped by Borderline Music to sign autographs and meet fans.
The alliance for dance music comes full circle now that artists have the opportunity to connect with fans at Borderline Music, perform live for the crowds at Roscoe’s Tavern and promote their new singles on Nexus Radio.
Stop by Borderline Music’s new Andersonville location at 5351 N. Clark Street, in Chicago.
