Rihanna to Join ‘The Voice’

Her music videos and media appearances won’t be the only places you can see Rihanna this fall, as it has just been announced that the popstar will be serving as a “key advisor” on NBC’s “The Voice.” The LA Times reports that network chief Bob Greenblatt announced the news at the Television Critics Assn. media tour in Beverly Hills.

Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Pharrell will be this season’s four judges, with Brad Paisley acting as advisor to Shelton and John Fogerty to Levine. Rihanna will act as the key advisor to all four judges.

“We landed Rihanna to be the key advisor to all the coaches this fall,” Greenblatt told reporters, according to Music-News.com. “This is one of music’s true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers.”

Rihanna has previously performed on “The Voice” during the season three finale. Season nine will begin September 21st at 8 PM.
