Skrillex has teamed up with David Navarro, aka Roboto, to create an “ultramodern anime film” called JOSHO, according to Billboard.

Roboto has created artwork for the EDM world before, having worked with Skrillex previously, as well as with Zedd. “The OWLSA leader has worked hand-in-hand with Roboto for several years, incorporating the designer’s advanced efforts into his live performance visuals.”

This particular collaboration is a bit out of this world, so to speak. It uses Skrillex’s record “Ease My Mind” as the soundtrack and features a sci fi universe-far-in-the-future plot. If you can call it a plot at all, rather than just a beautiful philosophical meditation on the cycle of power.
