STEVE ANGELLO RELEASES NEW VIDEO

To those who have been waiting since November’s release of Chapter 1 of Steve Angello’s first solo album “Wild Youth,” now is your time: Chapter 2 has finally been dropped, along with a new music video and a 13-minute mix!

The former Swedish House Mafia DJ completed the album, released by his own label SIZE Records, with seven new songs, bringing the total up to thirteen, says Rolling Stone.

“Wild Youth is the soundtrack of my life,” Angello told Rolling Stone in November when the first six songs came out. “It’s based on a true story — honest, naked and the most exposed I’ve ever been. The visuals go hand in hand with the music and everything I’ve tried capturing can be seen and heard.”

The visuals for “The Ocean,” which features Julia Spada, are pretty dark; they depict a single father boxer struggling to make ends meet between his factory day job and his fights in the ring. “The clip follows a Rocky-esque story line,” reports Spin, “featuring a boxer and single father preparing for the bloody match of his life while running along a beach, lifting weights, and reading his daughter a bedtime story.”

Chapter 2 of “Wild Youth” also features guest appearances by Andrew Watt, Francesco Rossi, David Garza, Dan Reynolds and Saints Of Valory. You can watch the music video for “The Ocean” below and listen to the mini mix by clicking here.
