THE TAKE 5 SERIES
Best known for 2016 single “Solo Dance,” Martin Jensen is a Danish DJ who has not let a global pandemic stop him from connecting with his fans; this summer the artist hosted virtual concerts, a series titled ‘Me, Myself, Online.’ Each bi-weekly concert featured a unique stage in Denmark. Livestreamed on streaming platform Twitch, his concerts have been enjoyed by over a million different viewers. He even streams home DJ jam sessions, which have lasted a few hours each.
It is no surprise so many fans tune into his streams––Martin is a frequent entry into DJ Mag’s 100 best DJs annual poll. This year, he released single “Don’t Cry For Me,” a collaboration with fellow DJ Alok and singer Jason Derulo.
His fans enjoy both his original singles as well as his remixes. Earlier this year, the DJ released a remix of “Day ‘N’ Nite” that boasts over thirty million streams across listening platform. Martin’s most recent release is a remix of Denis Coleman’s “Don’t Wait.”
