But, more than that, it represents one of the essential messages ADE has to offer: music is better when it’s inclusive.

Dance music is for everybody – that’s the message in this film, which we at Nexus Radio fully endorse. Throughout its short runtime, the film poses a series of questions -“is it your beliefs that resonate? Is it my ideas that continue to be heard?” – always returning the titular query: what’s your vibe?
For anyone who’s experienced ADE, it’s a flood of light and colors, sound and style – a vibrant blend of people from all cultures and backgrounds. In short, ADE is where the whole industry, fans, and musicians alike, come together to make and enjoy music on a scale like no other. For newcomers, ADE is a welcoming experience, full of people who are too keen to introduce to the wonderful world of EDM music.
Watching What’s Your Vibe?, it’s easy to see that this is something ADE takes a great deal of pride in. But how does this year’s message compare to last year’s aftermovie?
Rave-olution Evolution
Last year’s Dance is a Rave-olution tackled similar themes to this year’s film. Taking many of the same aesthetic cues as What’s Your Vibe? – such as the all-caps yellow overlays and the footage of joyful, dancing people – last year’s film was about why we dance and what we get from it.
Although this year’s film was about ten minutes shorter, it evolved on those ideas by showing how that dance experience brings people together.
Relive ADE 2022, Prepare For 2023
If you’re looking for a way to relive the amazing experience of ADE 2022 or preserve it for years to come, then What’s Your Vibe? is a beautiful way to keep those memories well and truly alive. Its message is simple yet powerful, and if there’s one thing we can take away from it, it’s the power dance has to unite people.
At the same time, it’s also a great way to get excited for 2023. Although the next ADE is a long way away, the Dance never really ends, and it’s hard to watch this film without getting excited about what could come next.
