UMF Organizers to Reinvent WMC In 2019

2019 will see the rebirth of a music conference that helped shape the modern mainstream dance music industry in United States. Now under the umbrella of Miami Music Week, Winter Music Conference will return to Miami Beach between March 25th and 28th in 2019. The reimagined conference will be refreshed with a new perspective, and with insightful programming for a new generation of industry professionals and music consumers alike.

For the first time ever, WMC will offer two distinct segments targeted at music professionals as well as consumers looking to learn more about the exciting industry of electronic dance music. WMC badge holders will gain access to insightful panels in music production, DJing, music technology, and culture with panelists and delegates from top companies in the business.

2019 will also mark the first fully-programmed WMC since the announcement that Ultra Music Festival organizers acquired the conference, along with its International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) properties. The Ultra acquisition aims to restore WMC’s status as the must-attend dance music industry event in the United States.

“For decades… (WMC) was where the mega deals were done, and provided a launching point for countless legendary tracks as well as breakthrough DJs. In March 2019, WMC will return with a fully revamped program” – Russell Faibisch, Ultra Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO
