When it comes to creating a track that’s built for big stages, few collaborations capture the raw energy and seamless chemistry quite like Kazeta, GSEPP, and 4YU on their latest release, Turn Up the Bass. Out now on Interplay Records, the track embodies the euphoric highs, hard-hitting drops, and festival-ready flair that define today’s dancefloor anthems.
The story began with Kazeta & GSEPP during their debut as the duo GZETA at NOFLEX. The night before the performance, they pieced together a quick edit of Rae Sremmurd’s No Flex Zone. That experiment became the DNA for what would eventually evolve into Turn Up the Bass.

Fast forward to Miami 2025, at Kazeta’s Miami & Friends Open Decks event, where the duo crossed paths with 4YU. The three artists immediately clicked, merging their styles into something larger than the sum of its parts. The track quickly became a staple in their sets, gaining underground momentum until the hype demanded an official release.
The production process was as dynamic as the track itself. Kazeta drove the high-energy impact of the first drop, while GSEPP contributed his distinctive twist to the second. Enter 4YU, who infused the record with trance-driven melodies, crafting a euphoric break and emotional bridge that transformed the tune into a fully fleshed-out festival weapon.
What could have been a clash of creative visions instead became a seamless blend. The trio credit their personal rapport for keeping the process smooth: ideas were freely exchanged, adjusted, and sometimes discarded without friction. That fluidity shines through in the balance of power, melody, and soul across the track.
Turn Up the Bass is also part of 4YU’s EP, Take Control—a two-track showcase of his versatility. Take Control offers soaring, melodic trance designed for peak-time euphoria, while Turn Up the Bass with Kazeta & GSEPP dives head-first into big-room aggression. Together, the EP highlights both sides of 4YU’s artistry: the melodic and the massive.
If you had to describe the track in three words to someone who hasn’t heard it yet, what would they be?
Main Stage Vibes!
How did the three of you first decide to come together for this release?
Kazeta & GSEPP debuted their duo project GZETA at a venue called NOFLEX. The night before the show, they put together a quick edit using the vocals from Rae Sremmurd’s “No Flex Zone”, which later became the foundation for what is now “Turn Up the Bass.”
Fast forward to Miami 2025—at Kazeta’s Miami & Friends Open Decks event—the duo linked up with a third collaborator. The trio began working on the track together and soon started dropping it in each of their sets. The buzz it created eventually led to its official release on Interplay Records.
What does each of you bring to the table when working on a track — do you divide roles (melody, rhythm, arrangement), or is it more fluid?
Kazeta & GSEPP shaped the foundation and overall direction of the track, with Kazeta driving the energy of the first drop and GSEPP adding his signature touch to the second. When 4YU joined the project, he brought his trance expertise, layering in a euphoric break and bridge that added soul and depth. His contribution became the missing piece that transformed the track from a strong idea into a true festival anthem.
How did you balance each of your styles to keep the sound cohesive while still letting your individuality shine through?
We always disagreed on everything!! JK, It was really natural, we already have great vibes towards each other at a personal level, so ideas were easy to remove, or tweak adjust etc. It was a very seamless process which doesn’t always happen!
