Martin Garrix Surprises Fans With Madonna Collaboration During Brooklyn Show

Martin Garrix gave fans an unexpected preview of new music during the final night of his three-show run at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, debuting an unreleased collaboration with Madonna that immediately became one of the most talked-about moments of the weekend.

The Dutch producer dropped the track, believed to be titled Bizarre, during his June 13 performance. It didn’t take long for the crowd to recognize Madonna’s unmistakable voice as it echoed through the arena. Fans online were quick to connect the dots, especially after noticing the pink, blue and purple laser visuals that closely resemble the artwork and aesthetic surrounding Madonna’s upcoming album, Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II.

The song is expected to be the fourth single from the pop icon’s new project, which arrives on July 3. The album serves as a follow-up to her acclaimed 2005 release Confessions on a Dance Floor, a record that remains one of the most celebrated dance-pop albums of her career. Over the past several months, Madonna has been steadily building anticipation for the release with singles including I Feel So Free, Bring Your Love featuring Sabrina Carpenter, and Love Sensation.

Additional tracks from the album were recently previewed through Confessions II – The Film, a short film that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival before being released online. The project offered fans an early look at songs such as Good for the Soul, One Step Away, Danceteria, and Read My Lips featuring Feid.

For Garrix, the collaboration adds another major name to a career already filled with high-profile partnerships. While he’s spent the past decade headlining festivals and arenas around the world, working alongside one of pop music’s most influential figures is a milestone even for an artist of his stature.

The premiere also comes as Garrix prepares for a busy period of releases. Speaking recently with Toronto radio station KiSS 92.5, he revealed that his next studio album is now expected before the end of the year. The producer described the project as more fun and accessible than his 2022 debut album Sentio, suggesting a lighter and more melodic direction for the upcoming record.

Beyond the new music, Garrix has continued using his tour dates to showcase emerging talent. During his Brooklyn run, local artists Micki, Cashen and Chuwe joined the lineup as support acts, continuing a tradition he has maintained throughout his North American shows.

While neither Garrix nor Madonna has officially confirmed a release date for Bizarre, the reaction inside Barclays Center suggests fans won’t have to wait long before demanding an official release. Judging by the excitement that followed its debut, the collaboration already feels like one of the dance music stories of the summer.
