When you think about Miami Music Week I’m sure the only things that comes to your mind are the pool parties during the blazing hot sun and the sizzling night clubs when the sun goes home for the night. The Dutch/DJ producer Martin Garrix seems to think that Miami Music week has more to offer. Martin Garrix already has the world in his hands being that he’s only seventeen and already is a pure superstar that went from just a festival act to a headliner in what seems like the snap of a finger. It’s amazing to see that he’s only seventeen and his career is moving ahead rapidly, you can see the talent in him because very little people have what it takes to succeed as a teenager. That isn’t the only thing about Martin thats wonderful though, in between headlining at the Ultra Music Festival and the other music parties going on he’s taking time out of his day to visit the Miami’s Alonso Mourning Overtown Youth Center. Martin thinks its important to to teach the children art education and the basics of music mixing. It’s a truly wonderful thing to watch someone so young reach out and help to teach children something that they might not have known yesterday. Alexander Mijares will be joining him and helping him with what they call the “Animals inspired art project” Mijares plans to create an artwork strictly inspired by the project and it will be sold and the money will go to the Overtown Youth Center. Keep an eye out for Martin Garrix because it’s obvious he’s on the rise, not only does he have the talent but he has the kindness to become even bigger and better!
