Demi Lovato’s superfans are going to be telling themselves “be still my heart cause I’m freaking out,” because the American pop diva just announced an extension of her tour. Her “Neon Lights” world tour will continue this autumn with a second leg in North America.
After a successful spring run in North America, and dates in South America, Lovato is retooling the tour for the new leg. Singer-songwriter Christina Perri and pop-rap duo MKTO will serve as the openers for the second leg of the tour.
The former Disney star and onetime “The X Factor” judge has been promoting her fourth album and tour using the hashtag #DEMIVERSARY, celebrating the year since “Demi” was released. Previous singles from the album include the double platinum “Heart Attack,” and the gold “Neon Lights.” She recently released the fourth single from the album, “Really Don’t Care,” featuring British pop princess Cher Lloyd.
The second American leg will began on September 6 at Baltimore Arena, and conclude on October 25 at Newark’s Prudential Center. Tickets go on sale June 3.
