Lifetime plans to make a Whitney Houston biopic, but Whitney’s voice wont be gracing the television movie, instead dance sensation Deborah Cox will lend her voice.

Although Deborah Cox will be providing the voice, she will not grace the leading role, instead that will fall to American’s Next Top Model Yaya DaCosta.

Houston’s family is against the film and believes Houston’s life deserves to be on the silver screen.  “Whitney is certainly worthy of more than a television movie,” her sister-in-law and onetime manager, Pat Houston, said. “If Whitney were here today, this would not be happening.”

The movie is called I Will Always Love You: The Whitney Houston Story and is still pending music right clearances.
