In a sit-down with Universal Music, Madonna discusses what went into creating this studio work, which included Madonna herself analyzing, criticizing, then defying society’s standards and limitations in regards to gender, race, social class, and behavior. Tying in the sentiments of many public figures such as the infamous, ‘rebellious heart,’ documentarian Michael Moore, she had a lot to say about her views on these obstructions and that voice rings clear on this latest album.
