When Ariana Grande hosted and performed on SNL on March 12, she also let the world hear the first two singles from her upcoming album, Dangerous Woman. The day before she went on SNL to give us a peak at her first two singles, she officially released the first single from the album. The song ‘Dangerous Woman’ is a new sound for Grande. It is saucy and grown-up feeling, as this whole album seems to be. While she released her first track, she also released the track list for her new album as it went on pre-sale on iTunes.
Before dropping the second single off her album, Grande gave her fans a little teaser by singing a few lines of it in a live streaming Q&A session with her fans. Earlier this week, Grande also released the second single from the album. The single, ‘Be Alright’ was the second song that she performed on SNL. It has a softer sound than ‘Dangerous Woman.’ It feels housey, as well as having an interesting 90’s R&B vibe to it. Its sound reflects the emotional ups and downs of life that it sings about.
Yesterday, Grande also released a video performance from the set of her new music video for ‘Dangerous Woman.’ She is wearing her sexy black latex bunny suit, which she laughs about how they had to lube her up in order to get her into the suit. Anyway, in the video that she released Monday, she does an a Capella performance of the song ‘Dangerous Woman.’ She kills it with her amazing vocals and proves that she has enough talent that she does not need back-ups.
Her ‘Dangerous Woman’ album will be coming out on May 20, just a couple months away. Until then, stay tuned for the surprises that her other single releases are sure to bring.
