EDM artists have come together to condemn the horrifying attack at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub on the night of the June 11th and support the families of those affected. From Diplo to Zedd, Markus Schulz to Ferry Corsten, Tritonal to The Chainsmokers, all EDM artists came together to condemn the dastardly act.
Having grown up and attended nightclubs in Orlando, Diplo emerged sentimental regarding the attack. “It could be any of our children enjoying themselves feeling safe in a moment like this with their life taken by a random violent act. These are the places where I work everyday and it’s sad and confusing that the one place where you can be yourself and leave everything outside for a moment can be taken from us.”

Other EDM artists too tweeted their sadness over the attack.

Deeply saddened by #Orlando tragedy. Thoughts + prayers with all. We should have confidence to go out + live to tell the tale the next day

THE ORLANDO AND PARIS SHOOTINGS HIT SO CLOSE TO HOME SINCE THEY HAPPENED AT MUSIC VENUES. IT'S A SCARY TIME FOR ARTISTS AS WELL AS FANS.

Nightclubs were meant to bring people together, not to host an act of mass terror. My heart aches for all involved in the #Orlando incident

No words for the tragedy in Orlando last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and victims today of the massacre. Disgusting
