Last year December, Dillon Francis had premiered a number of unreleased tracks at the IDGAFOS Weekend, in its fourth installment in Los Angeles. “Need You”, his collaboration with NGHTMRE was one of them, while the other was an unreleased Alesso collaboration. The latter collaboration between Dillon Francis and Alesso has now found a name ‘Take My Breath Away‘ and Alesso delighted both his own and Dillon Francis when he announced the release date for their collaboration, last Saturday (Oct 8th).

Footage of Alesso playing his soon-to-be released track with Francis at Road To Ultra Taiwan shows a production which is more indicative of what one might expect from the collaborative efforts of the two artists. The song centers around a well-suited blend of sultry vocals, melodic synths, pounding percussions, and frenetic builds.

While confirmation of a release from the pair is undeniably exciting news for fans of both artists, it is imperative to note that “Take My Breath Away” is not the collaboration teased by Dillon at IDGAFOS weekend. Dillon Francis fans enamored with the collaboration debuted at IDGAFOS weekend will have to wait a bit longer.
