Avicii Parts Ways With Manager, Announces New Album

2016 has been a landmark year for Tim Bergling, known popularly known as Avicii. After his announcement earlier this year to stop from touring and playing at concerts, the star has announced another huge change in his career – he has chosen to part with long-time manager Ash Pournouri of Night Management.

Avicii’s time with Night Management has literally shaped his career and brand as a hugely successful producer, right from start of his career. This is a quite surprising move given how close these two have been having been together for the better part of a decade. He has announced he’ll be following fellow Swedish producers Axwell Λ Ingrosso, who earlier this year departed from At Night Management.

An Avicii representative confirmed the split in a statement –

“2x Grammy-nominated songwriter/producer Tim Bergling and his production/publishing entity Avicii Music AB have parted ways with manager Ash Pournouri, At Night Management.

In other news, the representative also announced of a new album from Avicii next year – “Bergling is signed to Universal Music Sweden and is expected to release an album next year.” The expected album would be the first major project from the producer since his 2015 album Stories.
