Montreal’s OSHEAGA Music and Arts Festival is returning to the lush parks of Parc Jean-Drapeau on Ile Sainte-Helene this weekend from August 2nd through 4th.
With this iconic festival just around the corner, we’re taking a closer look at the stellar lineup of DJs and artists who’ll be gracing the many stages of OSHEAGA 2024.

1. Romy
Kicking off the first day of OSHEAGA will be Romy (formerly of the xx) whose debut solo studio album Mid Air took the dance world by storm upon its release in September 2023. Produced in collaboration with Fred Again and Stuart Price, the rangy and emotionally driven album will undoubtedly make for an excellent live experience.
2. Avalon Emerson
What can’t Avalon Emerson do? The San Franciscan native turned Berlin legend has quickly become a staple of the European club and festival circuit. She’ll be bringing her synth-heavy melodic techno tracks to OSHEAGA’s Coca-Cola Island Stage, though we’re secretly hoping she also plays a little from last year’s critically acclaimed dream pop album, & The Charm.
3. Chappell Roan
If you haven’t spent the last month streaming this Midwestern Princesses’ infectious pop tracks, well then… you’re in the minority. It seems like Chappell Roan broke into the collective consciousness overnight via campy viral performances and audacious interview snippets, but we think it’s mostly on the strength of her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for her Day 2 performance on OSHEAGA’s mainstage.
4. CRi
With a reputation that has quickly outgrown his Quebecois roots, Juno-nominated CRi is nevertheless the progressive house king of La Belle Provence’s electronic scene and one of the more exciting names on this year’s lineup. If his excellent 2023 sophomore album, Miracles, is anything to go off of, the OSHEAGA crowd is in for an uplifting Island Stage set.
5. Sofia Kourtesis
With her 2024 debut album Madres, Berlin-based Peruvian DJ Sofia Kourtesis cemented herself as a force to be reckoned with on the electronic scene. Marrying pensive chant, ambient synths, and club beats, Sofia’s OSHEAGA festival set promises to be a spiritual experience, though we’re a little more excited for her After Osheaga performance at the legendary Montreal nightclub, Newspeak.
6. Martin Garrix
One of the most significant names in the game since 2016, Martin Garrix’s star has never faltered, with exciting performance after exciting performance helping him to maintain his status as one of the GOATs. At OSHEAGA, he’ll be closing out Day 2 on the Green Stage with what’s sure to be an electric set.
7. Mau P
Rocket-launched into the zeitgeist with his addictive hit “Drugs From Amsterdam,” Mau P has managed to curtail his initial successes into an impressive international career thanks to his ballistic tech-house mixes and undeniable stage presence. He’ll have the honor of closing out the mainstage on the final day of OSHEAGA—or rather, we’ll have the honor of being there.
8. Justice
When French electro-rock duo Justice returned from their eight-year hiatus and brought us Hyperdrama, it was only a matter of time before they’d make their way back to Montreal. And there they will be in all of their funky, electro-house glory, bringing it home on Day 3 of the festival on the Green Stage.
9. Confidence Man
What happens when you mix breezy Aussie beats with an ingenious pop sensibility and tongue-in-cheek lyricism? You get Confidence Man, the sibling-fronted indie-pop band whose 2022 album TILT was one of the year’s best. With a highly-anticipated third album on the horizon and a sound that’s slowly pushing into clubhouse territory, Confidence Man is sure to deliver, both at their festival set and at Studio TD as part of the OSHEAGA After series.
10. Elyanna
Palestinian-Chilean singer and producer Elyanna will be bringing her critically acclaimed Arab-pop-meets-EDM-meets-jazz sound to Day 3 of the festival. Having rapidly amassed a loyal following through her incredible debut album WOLEDTO and viral Coachella performance, Elyanna is an absolute must-see at OSHEAGA 2024.
