The glitz, glamour, and global spectacle of the Eurovision Song Contest are back — and once again, American audiences can tune in live through Peacock, NBC’s official streaming service. The 2025 edition of the world-renowned music competition will be streamed exclusively on Peacock in the United States, continuing a partnership that began in 2021.
Streaming coverage begins at 3 PM ET each day of the event, bringing fans in the U.S. closer than ever to the drama, diplomacy, and dazzling performances that define Eurovision.
Although the United States does not participate in the contest, American viewers have long shown curiosity and enthusiasm for the event. Eurovision has seen a variety of U.S. broadcasters over the years, with its stateside presence beginning in earnest in 2016 when Logo TV aired the competition. Hosted that year by Carson Kressley and Michelle Collins, the initial broadcast drew 52,000 American viewers.
In subsequent years, Eurovision’s popularity grew modestly in the U.S., with commentators such as Ross Mathews and Michelle Visage from RuPaul’s Drag Race lending their star power to the event. By 2018, viewership climbed to 74,000, with the Grand Final capturing a 0.02% share of the U.S. TV audience.

Netflix later stepped into the Eurovision scene, acquiring streaming rights for the 2019 and 2020 editions. However, fans could only view the contests on-demand after the live broadcasts, which lessened real-time excitement for many.
Peacock’s decision to offer live coverage revives that immediacy and communal experience, allowing American viewers to engage with the drama and spectacle as it unfolds—just as millions do across Europe.
With global interest reaching far beyond the list of competing nations, the Eurovision Song Contest continues to demonstrate its unique power to unite audiences through music, diversity, and shared spectacle—now more accessible than ever for American fans through Peacock.
