Primavera Sound 2026 is almost here, and as we gear up for what is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about editions in the festival’s 24-year history, we’ve been doing some serious thinking about which sets we’re most excited about.
As always, the dance and electronic programming is stacked, from dance music legends to up-and-comers we’re dying to catch IRL. Here are five artists we’ll be making a beeline for when Primavera Sound kicks off at Parc del Fòrum from June 3–7.
Skrillex
Few artists have shaped the sound of the last decade and a half quite like Skrillex. From his post-hardcore roots in From First to Last to the three Grammy-winning EPs that made him a household name, he’s the kind of artist whose set is always worth making time for. Playing on the same night as The Cure and Addison Rae, his Friday slot promises to be the dance music event of the weekend. We last caught him at Primavera Sound 2023, when his performance quite literally set the stage on fire.
Fcukers
If you caught Fcukers at Primavera Sound 2025, you already know. Their cyberpunk electroclash sound—unhinged, recalcitrant, sharp—hit like a freight train through the Forum last year. Fresh off the release of their debut album, Ö, Fcukers are exactly the kind of act that Primavera was built for: urgent, genuinely strange, and completely their own thing. We’ll see you there.
Carl Cox
An institution doesn’t even begin to cover it. Carl Cox has been one of the defining figures of electronic music for over three decades, and his closing Primavera Bits set on June 7—alongside Joseph Capriati and BLOND:ISH—is an enticing enough draw to drag us out of our post-festival slumber for one final day of partying. So, if you’re still standing by Sunday, this is exactly where you want to be: watching a legend remind the world exactly how it’s done.
BAMBII
Canadian DJ and producer BAMBII is one of the most exciting selectors in dance music right now, and we’re thrilled to see her on the Thursday lineup. A vanguard of the underground Toronto dance scene, BAMBII blends UKG, jungle, drum and bass, and dancehall into a sound that’s euphoric and deeply club rooted. Her sets feel like a celebration—full of joy and movement—and in a lineup as sprawling as Primavera Sound’s, that kind of pure, unapologetic fun is something to treasure.
Romy
Few artists have had a more impressive run in recent years than Romy. One third of The xx— who headline Saturday night—she’s also been carving out a solo career that sits at the intersection of indie pop and dancefloor euphoria, with her album Mid Air proving that she belongs on both the mainstage and in the club. We caught her the last time she graced the stage at Parc del Forum, and we’re psyched that she’s back for another performance. Whether she plays before or after The xx’s much-anticipated reunion set, it’s a lock for one of the weekend’s most emotional moments.
