ADE More Than A Dance Event
If you look at DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJ list, you’ll quickly notice that more than half of the top ten Dj’s are Dutch – and with good reason. Amsterdam is the home of ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event), but ADE is more than a dance event. ADE is “where dance music comes to do business”.
Close to celebrating its 20th anniversary, the annual dance music gathering attracted a record 300,000 music enthusiasts, 5000 conference visitors and 2,156 artists last year, making it the world’s leading electronic music platform.
It’s no wonder why we have so many Dutch producers these days. ADE has made Amsterdam a hotbed for EDM and in retrospect made dance music part of their culture. Take a walk down the streets of Amsterdam you will hear a variety of dance beats that are fit for every taste and subgenre. It’s a place where Dave Clarke and Richie Hawtin are treated as royalty with the same respect as Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Hardwell or Afrojack in the international scene.
One of the things that sets ADE apart from other industry networking events, is the added benefit of having access to their online contact database of fellow attendees.
But ADE isn’t just for EDM Executives – it’s also for all you dance music lovers out there.
