Alexandra Stan announced recently that she is taking a break from music.   The news was broadcasted on a local TV station in Romania earlier this month.

Alexandra explained that she took the decision because of a recent domestic abuse accident with her manager and boyfriend.

“I want to help the women who have been and still are going through the same situation as me. I think it’s much better to prevent than to defend.” said Alexandra Stan.

Her new album was scheduled to be released last month but was postponed due to the conflict.    She is best know for her hit single Mr. Saxobeat.  Her latest single was released this summer and is called “All My People”
