“Break Free” artist Ariana Grande will be heading New York Pride’s Dance On The Pier, NYC’S Pride’s largest fundraiser and over-the-top end to this year’s pride events. The event takes place on June 28th on Hudson River’s Pier 26 in Tribeca overlooking the city. Ariana Grande will be joined by DJs, Wayne G, The Cube Guys and Ralphi Rosario.
As one of the largest pride celebrations in the county, the performer will join a long list of divas that have graced the Pier dance stage, including, Whitney Houston, Cher, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Hudson and Demi Lovato to name a few.
The 21-year-old artist got her start with the leading role on the Nickelodeon’s series “Victorious” in 2009 and “Sam & Cat”. Her music career began with the soundtrack from the series andwent on to release her debt number album Yours Truly in 2013. Ariana Grande’s second album continued to propel the artist and included the hits “Break Free” with Zedd and “Bang Bang” which spent 34 continuous weeks in the top ten of Billboard’s Hot 100.
