The music industry’s “it” couple Beyoncé and Jay Z will be “On the Run” and on the road as they embark on a joint North American tour this June.
The announcement of the “On the Run” tour was released this past Monday, with a picture of the two stars wearing ski masks.
CNN tells us that the couple will be using the tour’s ticket profits to make some charitable donations.
A dollar from each ticket will be donated to the Shawn Carter Foundation to help underserved groups achieve their dream of going to (and affording) college.
The tour will also promote Beyoncé’s #BeyGOOD campaign that inspires community involvement and charitable work.
“On the Run” will take on big cities like Miami, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Toronto, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco among others.
Tickets for the tour go on sale May 2.
