Christiano Jordano sat down with us at the Nexus Lounge ADE Edition’s KEF Pop-Up Space this past ADE. Despite early morning tiredness, Christiano Jordano exudes enthusiasm as he reconnects with the energy of ADE. It’s a third time returning to Amsterdam; each visit is more reflective than the last—a sentiment felt deeply after years of pandemic-induced seclusion.

Christiano Jordano’s connection to music is both profound and personal. Originally from a family of creators in the medieval village of Gaeta, Italy, his journey into music was galvanized by a transformative experience with Paul Oakenfold’s album “Another World.” Tracing his path back, he reveals how the sounds from that album inspired him to delve deeper into the world of music and ultimately compelled him to forge a career as a DJ and producer.

Reflecting on the evolution of sound, Christiano Jordano observes how music production has transcended over the years. “Man has the engineering of sound come such a long way to where it is now,” he muses. Listening to older tunes reminds him of this progress, inspiring him to continue pushing boundaries in his work.

Now based in Miami, Christiano Jordano finds his muse in the solitude of early morning runs. It’s here, amidst the pre-dawn silence, that his creativity flourishes. He shares, “I wake up super early before the sun comes up… put my phone on do not disturb… and I wind up getting all my best ideas.” This ritual underscores his dedication to cultivating inspiration uniquely and naturally.

One can't discuss Christiano Jordano's journey without mentioning his collaboration with BoGriLZ, whom he affectionately calls his "studio dad." This partnership sparked the inception of Terminal Records, a growing label featuring over 100 releases from 60 artists worldwide—a testament to Christiano Jordano''s vision of extending support to fellow musicians.

As the conversation winds down, Christiano Jordano emphasizes the power of staying true to oneself in a world chasing trends. He advises aspiring musicians, “Don’t stop and don’t care what people think. Make something because you like it… be true to yourself.”
