Daya’s Headlining Tour In Early 2017

Daya has had a stellar year so far, with her first single “Hide Away” breaking the Top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 and then reaching No. 3 with the help of The Chainsmokers on the summer smash “Don’t Let Me Down.” Her recent single ‘Words‘ (third single from the album ‘Sit Still, Look Pretty’) features in the top 10 of the Nexus Radio’s Top 150 Hits released on the 28th Nov. And now, the 18-year old music sensation is headlining a tour for the first time.

Daya’s hit collaboration with EDM duo, The Chainsmokers may have put her on the map, but it’s her album, Sit Still, Look Pretty (released Oct 7th) and her upcoming 2017 tour that will put her on the top of her game. The success of her debut album has been insane and fans are going crazy over her catchy hits like “Dare”, “Thirsty”, and of course, everyone’s favorite, “Hideaway”. Daya has confessed she’s in the “electro-pop” lane and she’s loving it there. Announcing the tour, the singer had this to say –

“I’ve been waiting for my first headline tour ever since releasing ‘Hide Away’ last spring!! It’s going to be incredible. I’m so excited to design it from scratch with my team – all the lighting, production, merch, sound, and everything else that goes into a tour,” Daya wrote in her tour announcement . “I’m definitely looking forward to bringing some new songs from the record to life for the first time. But most importantly, I’m pumped to share more pieces of my artistry with my fans who have supported me from the beginning and have an amazing time with them every night!”

Daya will be starting out the ‘Sit Still Look Pretty Tour’ in her home state Pennsylvania and ending in her hometown of Pittsburgh, but Daya is literally going ALL over the place, so there’s plenty of chances for her fans to see and listen to her!

Tickets for her tour can be got from here.
